Bio
Shane is a seasoned film and series producer specializing in production management. With a career spanning micro-budget indie films to large-scale studio productions, he has contributed to narrative features, live broadcasts, and documentaries for top cable networks and streaming platforms. Known for his creative insight and problem-solving skills, Shane excels at developing efficient production systems that elevate projects from inception to delivery.
From 2021 to 2024, Shane served as Head of Production at Story Syndicate, overseeing documentary features and series for platforms including Netflix, HBO, Apple, Hulu, FX, and NatGeo. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Production at VICELAND/VICE TV, supporting development and production across genres such as doc-follow, true crime, live specials, and comedy. He also played a key role in nonfiction and reality programming at VH1 and MTV.
As an independent filmmaker, Shane has produced or co-produced four feature films, directed and written 26 short films, and produced and directed a web series for Sundance Channel. His directing credits include projects for College Humor (CH2), Above Average, and the award-winning web series The Other Kennedys.
Currently, Shane is producing two independent documentary features set to premiere in 2026.
He is a British citizen based in Brooklyn. He is also quite tall.
