Feel free to check out my work on Netflix. We're super excited to launch this documentary for streaming worldwide.
Super excited! Hi there! My name is Jamila Surpris and residing on Tsalaguwetiyi and Mvskoke lands (Atlanta, GA). My background is in design and sustainability. I have a lot of knowledge in not only the aesthetics of design but what makes design profitable for businesses. That’s what I love helping mission-based companies and nonprofits do — support their missions with the help of modern design and engaging content.
I work regularly on logo design, digital graphics, motion graphics, layout design, and assets. I am a recipient of the 2018 Rubicon Global Waste Fit Champion award for the work I did for Southface’s public awareness campaign, Talk Trash. I develop project assets that resonate with target audiences, grow sales, click-through rates, with a high return on investment.
In this powerful documentary, two Black women whose young sons were brutalized by police build a network of support, healing and political action.
