Jonathan's Silver Telly-winner Follow the Leader premiered in Tampa and Charlotte during the 2012 RNC & DNC conventions, and later aired internationally around the American elections (US release: Angelika Film Center, PBS/America ReFramed, Cinedigm). His first feature Sunny Intervals and Showers aired on BBC (Storyville), and received Grierson and Mental Health Media nominations.

Jonathan was a Fulbright Scholar at the UK’s National Film School (NFTS), after studying psychology, painting, and philosophy at Stanford.
