Bio
I'm a seasoned program director and independent producer with 20 years of experience spanning the film and tech sectors at industry leaders like Producers Guild of America (PGA), Sundance Institute, and WhatsApp. I'm passionate about storytelling and self-development and have dedicated my career to supporting independent filmmakers with authentic voices.
I’ve directed film labs, fellowships, and grant programs at PGA, Sundance, Film Independent, and Cinereach, where I’ve reviewed thousands of applications, screened completed films and works-in-progress, read scripts, defined evaluation criteria, and participated in final selections — developing valuable insights into selection processes and guidelines.
I’ve programmed masterclasses and facilitated mentorship pairings with industry professionals, cultivating valuable relationships along the way. While leading the Women’s Program at Sundance Institute, I expanded support for writers, directors, and producers through partnerships with Netflix, Adobe, and NBCUniversal.
I’m also a producer and have produced the documentary short JUST A DOG (Hot Docs 2016, The Nation), the fiction feature ICAROS: A VISION (Tribeca 2016, New York Times Critic's Pick), a virtual speakeasy for the 2021 Sundance Film Festival, and branded content for WhatsApp. I’m a member of Documentary Producers Alliance (DPA) and Brown Girls Doc Mafia (BGDM).
