Bio

Sarah is a James Beard Award-winning documentary editor. Sarah edited the feature docs Saving the Restaurant (2022), Cup of Salvation (2023), and Ghosts of Napa Valley (2024), as well as short docs The Oyster Farmer (2023), Inheriting the Future (2023), and The War Photographer (2024). She has served as assistant editor on multiple projects directed by Academy Award-Winner Ross Kaufmann, including the short doc Winding Path, an official selection at Sundance 2024. Sarah is producing the feature documentary Puzzle Party scheduled for release in 2027.

Puzzle Party

The 94-year-old leader of an elite group of puzzle enthusiasts searches for meaning in his legacy as he navigates grief, lets go of his massive puzzle collection, and opens a clandestine international event to outsiders for the first time.

Faced with an increasingly dangerous reality for trans people in the United States, the parents of an 8 year old trans girl uproot their lives in the United States and immigrate to Spain, with hopes of a more secure future, reversing generations of assumptions about the U.S. as a place of certainty and security.
