Born in San Francisco and now residing in Brooklyn, Annalise Pelous is a graduate of USC's Cinema and Media Studies program pursuing a career in documentary editing. With a background in Gender Studies, they're drawn to impactful stories of resilience and compassion that challenge formal conventions. Following an internship at Jane Doe Films, they joined the Documentary Producers Alliance as Administrative Coordinator and have continued supporting this nonprofit organization's vital advocacy work while freelancing as an assistant editor on several forthcoming independent documentary productions.
