Lisa Leeman

Lisa Leeman has made award-winning feature documentaries for thirty-five years. Her films illuminate social issues through intimate character-driven stories that follow protagonists over years at turning points in their lives.

Roger Ebert cited Leeman’s One Lucky Elephant as one of the best documentaries of 2011. She is currently producono and directing Walk by Me, a follow-up to her groundbreaking first film, Metamorphosis (Sundance Filmmakers Trophy; POV/PBS, 1990).

Lisa is a MacDowell Fellow, a member of the Motion Picture Academy, a former president of the International Documentary Association, and chairs the Ethics subcommittee for the Documentary Producers Alliance. A professor and endowed chair at the University of Southern California, she teaches Documentary Production and Cinematic Ethics.

Tiffany Fisher-Love

Tiffany Fisher-Love (she/her) straddles the line between narrative and documentary projects. She is currently working as the Producer for the feature documentary “Storming,” “The Experiencer Project,” and the feature-narrative “Hawaiian Vacation.” Previous work includes Co-Producer on “Boycott” and the Emmy-nominated and California Humanities-supported film “United Skates.” Tiffany was a 2021 Film Independent Documentary Fellow, a 2022 Sundance Producer Intensive Fellow, and a 2023 SF Film Creative Advising Mentor.

Rebecca Stern

Rebecca Stern is an Emmy-nominated documentary producer and director living in Los Angeles, CA with over a decade of experience in the field delivering high-quality non-fiction films and series to myriad platforms, film festivals, and media outlets including HBO, Hulu, AMC, ESPN, Starz and PBS among others. Her work has covered topics from the world of sports, national debates, systemic issues, crimes and comedy. Deeply rooted in the documentary community, she is on the board of the Documentary Producers Alliance, a 2023 DOCNYC 40 Under 40 honoree, a 2018 Impact Partners Fellow, a PGA-accredited producer. Rebecca is particularly drawn to films that feature joy, awe, strong narrative structures, and a healthy dose of fun.

Loi Ameera Almeron

Loi Ameera Almeron is a versatile documentary producer and post supervisor who is the 2024 Elevate Award winner from the Berkeley Film Foundation and Jonathan Logan Family Foundation. She currently produced “Fractured” (PBS Frontline), "For Our Children" (Netflix/Array), "Baseball Behind Barbed Wire" (PBS), and Diamond Diplomacy (NEH; premiering Fall 2025). She helped produce “Stephen Curry: Underrated” (AppleTV; FOCAL Nominee) and “And So It Begins” (PBS Independent Lens) that both world premiered at Sundance Film Festival. She also edited "Hale" which won the Student Academy Award for Documentary 2017, and "Making The Five Heartbeats," a 2019 NAACP Image Awards nominee for Outstanding Documentary.

With her deep roots in Philippine investigative journalism combined with her deeper love of organization, Loi is a natural all-around expert in research, story development, FOI and public records, production and media management, archival, editing, and post supervising. Her work focuses on investigative, historical, and personal documentaries on civil and disability rights, immigration and race, and science and society.

Loi holds her Master of Journalism from the University of California, Berkeley. She is a member of the Documentary Producers Alliance, Brown Girls Doc Mafia, A-Doc, and Investigative Reporters and Editors. She is a panelist for the National Freedom of Information Coalition and Immigration Film Fest.

Her films are available on PBS Frontline, Netflix, AppleTV, Prime Video, HBO, The Criterion Channel, iTunes, National Endowment for the Arts, and Good Docs. Her films are funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities, Firelight Media, Berkeley Film Foundation, Jonathan Logan Family Foundation, Ohio Humanities, and more.

She is currently based in New York City.
